Pre-Teaching Eportfolios

The national leaders in implementation of ePortfolios seem to be Teacher's Colleges that prepare the teachers of the future for the 21st century.  I attended another slam-dunk eportolio demo by Sue Stoddart of Marian College in Wisconsin.  Not only is every single new teacher now required to produce a complete eportfolio -- their "categories" for exhibits/evidence are based directly on the Wisconsin Statewide Standards.  They use FrontPage -- a webpage-made-easy software system -- to build the ePortfolios, but the final product can be passed out on beautifully labeled, professional-looking CD-ROMS to impress future employers (or accessed on the web). Needless to say, these future-teacher's eportfolios were flawless:  brimming with graphics, creativity, and energy.  I'll add some links to the best of their work later when I catch my breath after this conference.
